account - adding and editing



Adding Accounts

Clicking on the Add Account Button displays a popup window that allows the addition of a Deposit Account or Credit Account.



Choose the Account Type to add, using the Type Switch. Click on Deposit for Deposit Accounts or Credit for Credit Accounts.


Adding Deposit Accounts

Deposit Accounts help keep track of regular accounts, i.e., Checking, Savings, Cash Accounts.

Enter an Account Name in the Account Name text field shown above or use the default “MyChecking” Account name.

(Purchased or Unlocked version only)
Use Subaccounts option allows you to add Accounts within an Account to help budget or track funds.

Unchecking Split Amount combines Debits and Credits into one Column.

Clicking on the Add Account Button displays a popup window that allows the addition of a Deposit Account or Credit Account.

Adding Credit accounts

Helps keeps track of your Credit accounts, i.e., Credit Cards, Credit Lines, Loans.

Enter an Account Name in the Account Name text field or use the default “MyChecking” Account name.

Enter the Credit Line amount to have the register keep track of your available balance.

Unchecking Split Amount combines Debits and Credits into one Column.

Clicking on the Add Account Button displays a popup window that allows the addition of a Deposit Account or Credit Account.

editing/deleting Accounts

Pressing on the Edit Account Button displays a popup window that allows the editing or deletion of a Deposit or Credit Account.

Click Delete Account to remove the Account.

You can edit the Account Name using the Account Name field.

You can edit the Account Name in the Account Name field or the amount of the Credit Line for the Account.

Click Delete Account to remove the Account.
